About Compassion Crew

Compassion Crew Ministry is a dynamic and inclusive outreach program based at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Sebring, Florida. As part of the United Church of Christ—a denomination known for its commitment to justice, equality, and inclusion—Compassion Crew Ministry proudly serves as an open and affirming community. This ministry extends a warm and unconditional welcome to all, with a special emphasis on embracing members of the LGBTQ+ community and providing a safe space where teens and young adults can feel valued, respected, and loved.

At its heart, Compassion Crew Ministry seeks to reflect Christ’s unconditional love through its commitment to acceptance, inclusion, and the celebration of diversity. The ministry believes in creating a space where everyone is free to explore and deepen their faith, regardless of their background, identity, or journey. Teens and young adults are at the center of this mission, with a focus on empowering them to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially within a supportive and affirming environment.

Compassion Crew Ministry is more than just a gathering place; it is a community where individuals are encouraged to bring their authentic selves. Through a variety of activities, including worship services, small group discussions, social events, and outreach projects, participants are given opportunities to connect with others, make a positive impact in the world, and discover their own unique gifts and purpose.

By standing as a beacon of hope and acceptance, Compassion Crew Ministry seeks to foster a sense of belonging and unity, ensuring that everyone who walks through its doors feels the transformative power of God’s love. With a commitment to justice and radical hospitality, the ministry strives to nurture a culture of compassion and advocacy, equipping young people to live out their faith with integrity, courage, and compassion. Whether someone is seeking a place to belong, a spiritual home, or a community that celebrates diversity, Compassion Crew Ministry is a place where all are welcome and all are affirmed.
